v 6,3 a samba3-zase nejakej bug?

nainstalil jsem na bsd v6,3 sambu3 . Kompilace  OK, nicmene nejde pridat 
nikdo pres smbpasswd

nevim proc to hleda /etc/samba/smbpasswd  kdyz ten by mel byt na 
/usr/local/bin/smbpasswd, aspon myslim. Nikdy jsem se s tim nesetkal a 
na googlu je jen rozsypanej caj k tomuto problemu.
Co s tim?
