Shutdown nepocka na ukonceni vsech procesu

na serveru me 4 bezi procesy, kazdemu trva rekneme 40 sekund nez se
zashutdownuje. squid,pgsql,tomcat, sqldnsd. Problem ze pri shutown
systemu se ceka jen zhruba 30 sekund a to jim vsem dohromady nestaci.
Co mam kde nastavit, aby to pri shutdownu
cekalo dele na jejich ukonceni.

Dival jsem se do zdrojaku a neni mne jasne, kde se tohle da nastavit.
prikaz shutown vypisuje jen hlasky a pak zavola halt nebo reboot (coz
je stejny program) a ten zadny uzivatem nastavovatelny parametr jak
dlouho cekat nema:

musim se priznat ze mne uniklo odkud se tedy spousti scripty typu
/etc/rc.d/XXXX stop jelikoz v reboot.c o tom neni ani zminka.
